Pioneering integrated energy group of Turkey, Aydem Energy's company, Aydem Renewables, operating in the field of renewable energy, became the signatory of the UN Global Compact, the most comprehensive sustainability platform in the world that offers universal principles that will shape the future of the business world in line with its sustainability vision.
Aydem Renewables, which carries on its activities with the approach of 'sustainable', 'innovative' and 'people-oriented' for the future of the industry and the society it serves, became the signatory of the world's largest sustainability initiative, the UN Global Compact, with more than 9,500 company members in more than 160 countries.
The United Nations Global Compact, which is based on ten principles in human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption, stands out as the most comprehensive sustainability platform in the business world. Member companies share the practices of these ten principles with the public opinion at international standards annually.

Aydem Renewables Executive Chairman of the Board, İdris Küpeli, who made remarks on being a signatory of the Global Compact, said that while providing more efficient solutions for today's needs, they also developed approaches that observes the sustainability of the needs of the society and the future generations.
Küpeli continued as follows, “We are happy to take such a step that will reinforce our identity as a human-oriented corporation that effectively implements international management standards in all business processes, creates value for its stakeholders, enriches its ecosystem. Achieving sustainable growth in every field is of course our most important responsibility both as a corporation and as the sector. In this process, our priority is to be a company that respects human rights, complies with high working standards, and is aware towards environmental sensitivities. With this signature, we have promised that we will comply with these "ten principles" set by the United Nations. Due to our responsibility towards all stakeholders we be in touch with, we are proud to be part of the Global Compact, which covers ten universally accepted principles”.
