1980 Denizli

Ceyhan Saldanlı and Ali Yağlı have founded Elsan Elektrik, the first company of Aydem Energy, in Denizli.

1985 Denizli

Tümaş Mermer (Tümaş Marble) has been established to utilize the marble reserves in Denizli and to market them both in Turkey and abroad.

1991 Aydın / Denizli / Muğla

Aydem Energy has been established.
Aydem has been commissioned to generate, transmit, distribute and trade electricity in the provinces of Aydın, Denizli and Muğla.

1995 Konya

The Group's first power generation company, Aydem Renewable Energy, has been established to generate electricity from domestic and renewable resources.
On the Bereket irrigation canal, the construction of Bereket Hydroelectric Power Plant, the first private power plant in Turkey has begun.

1997 Denizli

Aydem Renewable Energy, by breaking the mold in the energy sector in Turkey has broke new grounds and has established Bereket I, the first private hydroelectric power plant in Turkey.

1998 Denizli

Bereket II Hydroelectric Power Plant has commenced generation.

1999 Muğla

The first part of the Dalaman Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Dalaman River in Muğla, has commenced generation.

2004 Aydın

Feslek Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Aydın, has commenced generation.

2005 Muğla

All of Dalaman Hydroelectric Power Plants I-V, established in Muğla, have commenced generation.

2006 Adana / Muğla

Mentaş Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Seyhan River in Adana, has commenced generation.
Gökyar Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Muğla, has commenced generation.

2008 Aydın / Denizli / Muğla

The first private electricity distribution license in Turkey has been obtained and Aydem has started provide electricity distribution services in the regions of Aydın, Denizli and Muğla.
Kızıldere Geothermal Power Plant, established in Sarayköy district of Denizli, has commenced generation.

2012 Giresun / Denizli

Aydem Elektrik Parakende (Retail Electricity Company) has been established.
Çırakdamı Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Aksu River in Giresun, has commenced generation.
Kumkısık Biogas Power Plant, established in Denizli, has commenced generation.

2009 Sivas

Koyulhisar Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Kelkit River in Sivas, has commenced generation.

2011 Denizli

Aydem Science High School has started education and training.

2013 İzmir / Manisa / Adana

Gediz Elektrik Dağıtım (Electricity Distribution) obtained the electricity distribution license of İzmir and Manisa provinces.
Gediz Elektrik Perakende (Retail Electricity Company) has been taken over.
Toros Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Adana, has commenced generation

2014 Düzce / Uşak / Giresun

Elsan Elektrik has acquired 50% of the shares in Heerman GmbH, one of Europe's long-established enamelled magnet wire manufacturers.
Aksu Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Düzce, has commenced generation.
Uşak Wind Power Plant, established in Banaz, has commenced generation.
Dereli Hydroelectric Power Plant, established Giresun, in has commenced generation.
The tender for the privatization of Yatağan Thermal Power Plant and Güney Ege Linyit İşletmeleri (South Aegean Lignite Enterprises) has been won.
Çatalağzı Thermal Power Plant has been taken over.
Parla Solar has started solar panel manufacturing.

2015 Muğla / Zonguldak / Adana / Aydın

As the result of the maintenance and improvement Works, the capacity utilization in Yatağan and Çatalağzı Thermal Power Plants has been increased to 80%.
Göktaş II Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Adana, has commenced generation.
Söke Wind Power Plant, established in Aydın, has commenced generation.

2016 Adana / Armutlu / Denizli

Göktaş I Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Adana, has commenced generation.
Yalova Wind Power Plant, established in Armutlu, has commenced generation.
Call Center has been opened in Denizli with our 400 employees.

2017 Aydın

Kemer Hydroelectric Power Plant in Aydın and Adıgüzel Hydroelectric Power Plant in Denizli have been included within the body of Aydem Energy.

2018 Tokat

Akıncı Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Tokat, has commenced generation.

2019 Denizli

The first domestic solar cell manufacturing plant in Turkey has commenced production within the body of Parla Solar.
Aydem Energy has consolidated its 12 companies that operate in different areas and made impower to corporate governance.

2020

· Aydem Energy is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
· Aydem Renewables’ first sustainability report was published and won the "Silver Award" at the LACP Awards organized by League of American Communications Professionals.
· As Aydem Renewables, in line with the sustainability vision, we became a signatory of the world's most comprehensive sustainability platform UN Global Compact, which offers universal principles that will shape the future of the business world.
· As Aydem Renewables, we were ranked as leader of Turkey's electricity sector within the Environmental - Social - Governance (ESG) performance rankings, by ViGeo Eiris/Moody's, one of the world's most important independent rating company.
· The official opening of the Akıncı Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Tokat, was realized.
