We enlisted, with our 10 group companies, on the “Best Employers of Turkey”

We enlisted in the Great Place to Work® Best Employers of Turkey List with our 10 companies. We, which have been included in the list with our 8 companies last year, broke our own record of "being the group with the most companies on the list " with our 10 subsidiaries this year.

As Aydem Energy, one of the leading players in the Turkish energy sector, broke new grounds with our employee-oriented management approach and the performance it has shown in the field of high corporate culture. We have managed to be the first group to be included in the Great Place to Work® Best Employers of Turkey List with our 10 companies. We, which have been included in the list with our 8 subsidiaries last year, thus broke our own record in 2022 We, which have been operating in the fields of electrical energy generation, distribution and retailing for more than 40 years, have been entitled to be listed as a 'Best Workplace' with our 13 group companies in December 2021 by the Great Place to Work® Institute, which provides services on a global scale.

“Our source of motivation is the satisfaction of our employees.”

Our Aydem Energy Human Resources Group Director, Fatih İslamoğlu has stated that they were happy to be included in the Best Employers of Turkey List by breaking records for two consecutive years as Aydem Energy and said; “We have justified pride of being included in the Best Employers of Turkey List with our 10 companies, as the result of the evaluations made by both our employees and the independent organizations, in the program conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute, which provides services on workplace culture and employee satisfaction. This success we have achieved with our roof company Aydem Holding and our 10 companies within its body, namely Aydem Renewables, Aydem Retail, Çates, GDZ Energy Investments, Elsan, Entek, Extranet, Yatağan and New Fleet, provides us with great motivation for the future.”

“Behind this success there exists the applications that touch the employees”

Emphasizing that behind this success there lies the cultural transformation projects that have been ongoing since 2019 and the practices that touch the employees, he continued as follows; “With our employee-centered perspective, our priority has always been the 'human'. As the human resources department, to ensure a happy workplace for our employees; we continue to design our new strategies in the light of our corporate culture built on our values of 'Sensitivity', 'Dynamism' and 'Touching Life'. We have redesigned our structuring with the Center of Excellence setup. We have implemented business development projects under the headings of Talent, Development, Salary and Benefits. We have worked on the areas of development that we have determined with the Organizational Health Index survey, and we have developed projects specific to these areas. While accomplishing these, we also reveal our vision for the future. As we manage our recruitment process, we encourage the business units to look beyond their immediate needs and consider what skills a larger organization needs to be successful in the future. We develop our Human Resources Planning System, Performance Management System and Aydem Academy with this perspective.”

Indicating that we have taken the inclusion and diversity projects also in their center, İslamoğlu stated; “With our “Aydem Equal Life” initiative, where we implement transformation projects in the field of gender equality, we work for the transformation of the culture, organization, training, physical conditions, recruitment processes and procedures in our group companies. Recently, as Aydem Energy and its group companies, we have been entitled to be included among the signatories of the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). With the aim of increasing the representation of female employees at all levels in our group, we plan to increase our female employee rate to 30 percent by the end of the year with the new recruitments. We aim to bring this ratio to the level of equal representation.”

“We shall increase our human resources by 10 percent in 2022”

As Aydem Energy, drawing attention to employment rates, İslamoğlu said, "Last year, we brought in 1,540 new talents to our group. We shall continue to provide a happy workplace for our employees by increasing our human resources by 10 percent in the year of 2022 as well.”
