She was born in Istanbul in 1982. She was graduated from Bilkent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in 2005. She has started her career as an engineer at Aydem Renewables. Afterwards, she has worked at the telecommunication company Nortel Networks Netaş as the Technical Support Engineer responsible for North America-Europe-Middle East-Africa regions for more than 3 years. Between 2010 and 2018, she has conducted business in Aydem Renewables at the position of Energy Sales and Trade Manager.
Mrs. Yağlı, who has served as the Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Günder (International Solar Energy Society-Turkey Section) since 2019, has started to serve as a Member of the Board of Aydem Holding as of July 2021. Elif Yağlı Ece is married and has two children.
